Multilingual morning activities for children in Donostia-San Sebastian in August
In August, La Cabaña opens its doors in the mornings to offer a carefully curated, creative, and welcoming space where children can enjoy themselves, explore, and express themselves freely.
From 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, we will engage in arts and crafts, cooperative games, music, storytelling, and excursions to the beach and the hills—combining movement, nature, and artistic expression in a safe, welcoming, and fully trilingual environment.
Our goal is to create an experience of well-being. We want every child to feel heard, respected, and part of a small group where they can develop their creativity at their own pace. We foster autonomy, curiosity, and enjoyment of the process over the final result.
Nature outings will allow children to connect with the natural world, observe, experiment, and play outdoors. Artistic activities will provide a space to imagine, create, and share. Group games and activities will strengthen the sense of community and the bonds between the children.
As with all La Cabaña activities, our approach is close and respectful, prioritizing emotional well-being and personal growth.

Our approach is grounded in a trilingual pedagogy based on guidance and support: allowing children to act, observing them, and guiding them when necessary. We trust in each child's innate ability to explore, create, and learn driven by their own curiosity.
We foster growth free from pressure, comparisons, and rigid expectations, valuing the process over the outcome. We respect individual paces and encourage autonomy by providing a prepared environment where children can make decisions, experiment, and confidently take on small challenges.
The group functions as a small learning community. Through shared daily life, play, and collaborative projects, children develop empathy, cooperation, and a sense of belonging. Adult guidance is close and mindful, prioritizing emotional well-being and mutual respect at all times.

The camps are available on a daily, weekly, or full-duration basis. They are designed for children to enjoy themselves and immerse themselves in creative projects—some of which require more than a single day to complete. Consequently, pricing reflects the continuity of the activities and the time needed to ensure each project is carried out unhurriedly and to a high standard. This allows the children to explore their creativity without rushing and to fully enjoy the process.
Group sizes are kept very small, with a maximum of six children. We therefore recommend letting us know in advance if you are interested; a 50% deposit is required to secure a spot, which will be deducted from the final price.
